We are currently celebrating our 38th year of offering fantastic fly-in fishing experiences to our customers, many who have been regular guests with us for more than 30 years.

We offer two "Ultra-Deluxe" outposts, on remote lakes, inside the Arctic-Watershed and are the only camps on each lake

How to get here

From the South:
After crossing into Canada at Pigeon River Border Crossing,
-Proceed North on Hwy 61 for 24.9 miles to Hwy 130 turn off.
-Left on Hwy 130 for 9.3 miles to Jctn of Trans Can Hwy 11/17
-Left on 11/17 for 68 miles to the ‘Lac des Mille Lacs Rd’ turn off
NOTE: There is a motel on your left-The ‘Black Spruce Motel’
-Left onto this‘Lac des Mille Lacs Road for 7 miles to our airbase on ‘Cushing Lake’.
 
Alternate-if you wish to go on into Thunder bay:
 
After crossing into Canada at Pigeon River Border Crossing,
-Proceed North on Hwy 61 for 35 miles to the jctn of Hwy 61 and TC 11/17
-Left on TC 11/17 (Arthur St.) for 80 miles to the ‘Lac des Mille Lacs Rd’ turn
off
- NOTE: There is a motel on your left-The ‘Black Spruce Motel’
-Left onto this‘Lac des Mille Lacs Road for 7 miles to our airbase on ‘Cushing
Lake’.

From the East:
-West on TC 11/17 to Jctn of Hwy 102
-Right onto Hwy 102 (Red River Rd) to Jctn of 102 and 11/17
-Right onto TC 11/17 to the ‘Lac des Mille Lacs Rd’ turn off
- NOTE: There is a motel on your left-The ‘Black Spruce Motel’
-Left onto this‘Lac des Mille Lacs Road for 7 miles to our airbase on ‘Cushing
Lake’.
 
Alternate-if you wish to go on into Thunder bay:

-Don’t turn off onto Hwy 102, -just continue on W on 11/17 to Arthur street.
-This is the junction of Hwy 61 ans 11/17.
-Right onto 11/17 West for 80 miles to the ‘Lac des Mille Lacs Rd’ turn
off
- NOTE: There is a motel on your left-The ‘Black Spruce Motel’
-Left onto this‘Lac des Mille Lacs Road for 7 miles to our airbase on ‘Cushing
Lake’.
